This is Leila.  Leila traveled from Michigan to celebrate her 18th birthday and create her senior casuals.  I'm always excited when someone from another state comes to my hometown and chooses me as their photographer.  We had a blast walking around downtown while finding colorful backgrounds that matched the outfits she selected.  I love my hometown New Orleans, because of the diversity in colors and textures we have in the French Quarter. The experience I give my seniors while downtown is unique and more angled from my point of view.  Just because you are visiting my city doesn't mean you need all the cheesy tourist type imagery...unless you would like them of course.  :)

I love showing them cool places that only I know of or have access to.  I have amazing friends all over the city and it's a treat when I can text them and show their venue off to my senior and her mom.  You never know if the senior will become the bride and the venue we visited could become tops on her list!  I have had way too many serendipity moments in my life where these types of stories come true.
