I have been photographing weddings in New Orleans for over 27 years.  The couples that keep it simple and enjoy the French Quarter for all that it is, seem to represent the feeling of the city.  If you have been downtown and walked around Royal street you'll notice the relaxed beauty of the architecture, amazing art for sale, walk in bars for a refreshing drink, and most importantly the kind people who just want you to enjoy our city.  Writers from the past have written stories about the New Orleans French Quarter because it just sets the tone for whatever attitude you want to live. 

These images are from Karin and Ed's French Quarter wedding. The special courtyard wedding was small yet powerful! Their friends and family flew in from all over the country to celebrate these two beautiful people.

When I work a wedding it is sooooooooo important to have like minded people working together because the cohesive professionalism truly shines when the itinerary stays on time!

I have worked with a ton of wedding planners and I truly have to say, Rachel & Jenna made the wedding fun and easy.  They both helped everyone enjoy the day while crushing the list of things to do on the itinerary.  The list by the way is usually a few pages long so YES, it is important to get the list done in a timely manor.  Nothing is more stressful than seeing that huge list and falling behind on time which just makes it harder getting everything on the list done!  I hate stress and it's usually someone not doing their job correctly which just affects all the other vendors who are on time but now rushing with less time to work. ARGH!  Can you feel my stress?  :)
