Imperfectly Perfect!

This image was take at the "A Bryan Photo" workshop with a Rollei 6x6 film camera.  Looking down to the Rollei's screen watching this moment happening.  I prayed my focus was good and snapped the picture.  The Rollei and the Yashica that I now own, both have a bay "Click" when you press the shutter release.  You ask yourself...Did I get?

Film cameras make you slow down and process the complete image from camera to subject. The image you see above is directly out of the camera.  There is no Photoshop, No Cropping...just as it's supposed to be...Natural!

What I love about shooting film is getting the shot is fun again.  We photographers get used to clicking away because we can with digital media, but how many times do you study an image to it's fullest extent before squeezing the shutter release?

To me this image is "Imperfectly Perfect!"      The kids running to mom at the same time is a great representation of parenthood.  Some days the kids are all about dad, others are all for mom.
