I brought my oldest daughter Julia, downtown for some street photography.

This was the perfect way to practice composition and finding the light.  True street photography is as photo journalistic as it gets.  You never stop anything from happening to pose , you are simply a by-standard in the crowd capturing life all around you.  This type of photography is one of my favs because I get to pay attention to what's happening and finding the angle that best showcases reality.  I usually like these images in black and white rather than color, but New Orleans is full of color which seems to be part of the story.  Here are a few of my favs...enjoy!
