The best way for me to explain Shelby and Jonathan to you is to just show you the images!  :)

I love it when a guy is cool enough to have his Iphone in his pocket playing music they can dance to.  The movement these two gave me was inspiring.  When I don't have to pose every single frame I get the chance to allow moments to happen.  I like to nudge the couple to have fun and be the "Couple" they are for their engagement session.  I know many people aren't comfortable in front of the camera because their expectations of themselves are so high but not sure if they can deliver.  I always take the approach of spying on you as if you were on a date or just taking a stroll.

Shelby and Jonathan have that fun delightful spark you like seeing in a happy couple. I think we laughed together more than we tried posing certain ways. A woman smiles and grins a certain way when her man is whispering in her ear, holding her waist or simply looking into her eyes. These are the aspects I like to showcase in my wedding photography, not a pose or a lighting feature...I want my clients to show me the love.
