They say a photograph is worth a thousand words. What does the image say to you?  If I don't tell you anything about Lawrence then you'll only have your thoughts when looking at the portrait.   
Take your time and read his eyes, his attitude, his posture, his hair,etc.  I always read an image from top to bottom.  If the image is strong then it's obvious from first glance.  To me, this is one of those images.
I can tell you Lawrence is celebrating his 80th birthday soon.  80 years is a huge milestone for which I'm honored to have captured this image.  A portrait can set the tone for your legacy.
