Marlon Wayans was the center of the spotlight for his Essence Festival Netflix movie premier "Naked". I had the pleasure of meeting the cast and everyone was so down to Earth and wonderful to speak with. New Orleans has been the host for many celebrities mainly because of our food and culture, but most importantly it's residents. We just don't respond to famous people like they do in other parts of the country. We see you as a real person with a job that gets you more attention then us, but when you live here...you are family! Us New Orleanians have a down home relaxed vibe that thrives throughout our city.
