This beautifully designed private event at the Chicory in downtown New Orleans was one for the ages. Not only was the decor stunning but the venue was filled with people who were an absolute pleasure to work with. The guest speaker, Robert Herjavec was knowledgeable, motivational, and kind to anyone who approached him with a question. Watching him interact with the guests was more like watching friends catch up on time missed. I have covered thousands of events in my career and Robert will always be in my mind for how you motivate others through kindness and compassion. Every time I watch Shark Tank I smile when I see Robert on TV. That guy you see on the stage is exactly the person you meet up close.  This day in New Orleans was a great experience for me. I love witnessing humanity at its best!
